Goals never really meant much to me until I had my son Taylor.
Looking back, I achieved everything I set out to do: I started my own financial services business, running it for 15 years before selling it on as a successful going concern. I also opened a restaurant in a commercial building I owned, and sold this after 6 years. I didn’t even realise these were goals.
My son is now doing a BA in Business studies: his passion is for drama in the same way that mine is for health. My son’s goal is to set up a drama school for children with special needs. I can’t wait to help him achieve that one.
I am proud to say that my son has become like me: he is a giver, and I am sure he will do extremely well at whatever he does if he continues to live this way.
